APPLICATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION IN SCHOOL

  1. The development of science and method in the field of information technology ability in the process of mathematics education

With the rapid development of science and technology, people’s life behavior and learning style are always affected. At present, with the rapid development of information technology, the reform of teaching method integrating educational technology has become the mainstream trend of the current reform of education mode.

Information technology makes the knowledge update faster and the content of knowledge more abundant. Breaking the time space helps students to acquire knowledge faster, and also enhances the connection between school and life, thus improving the ability of learning and thinking and effectively promoting the efficiency of education. Information technology has brought the time and space closer, changed the behavior of teachers and students’ teaching and learning, and it is a good helper for the development of education. It can effectively reduce the gap between urban and rural areas and become the driving force for the progress of the whole people and the development of the country.

In the information age, all kinds of governments and political parties attach great importance to the work of education development, vigorously promote the construction of information technology, and point out that the impact of information technology on education is «revolutionary», and must be «highly valued». With the gradual implementation of various aspects of work, information technology has a fundamental impact on the reform and development of education, which is shown as follows: 1) information technology has changed the carrier and mode of knowledge dissemination; 2) information technology has changed the way to acquire and use knowledge; 3) information technology has changed the time, place and teaching method of learning activities; 4) information technology has changed the way of learning activities; 4) information technology has changed The independent organization mode of personal knowledge leads to the change of organizational mode of social group knowledge; 5) it is the basic requirement of people’s production and life and learning to be able to use it in the information society; 6) information technology promotes the change of human training mode, promotes the innovation of teaching and learning mode in educational activities; 7) information technology greatly affects the relationship between communication form and teachers and students.

Since the 1980s-90’s, information technology has been widely used and developed in all aspects of education. The world, especially the developed countries, has formulated laws and policies to speed up the application of information technology in school education. Among them, the United States first carried out information technology education, and the most effective and the most effective; the way of promoting educational informatization in the UK, Germany, France and other countries in Europe is worth learning and learning from; Japan and Singapore in Asia also catch up in this respect. Under the background of information technology, China has also issued a series of policy measures from the national level. With the implementation of these programmatic documents, various schools in China have strengthened the construction of information technology, including the old, the small, the border and the poor areas, and the information technology education conditions of all levels of schools have been fundamentally improved.

The history of human development cannot be separated from the research and practice of education. From the hundred schools of thought in the pre Qin Dynasty to the reform of 1898 in Qing Dynasty, from ancient Greek philosophy to modern scientific and technological progress. In the great number of exploration activities in human history, a series of achievements have been made in the research of education. Especially in modern times, there are many famous scholars in educational theory research and educational method innovation. These theoretical results and experience summary are the essence of human education history accumulation, and also the effective basis for the researchers to inherit and develop.

The development of modern education has become a consensus of educational reform to be informationized and networked. The efficient combination of education and information technology is a major issue in the new era of talent training, and is a systematic project of current educational reform and education modernization. The development of modern information technology requires a new way of national education. Classroom education must change the original educational objectives, tasks, management methods, activities, evaluation indicators, resource utilization, technology application, teaching and research, teacher training and other aspects. These aspects are a new subject for the real educational managers and educational organizers. Only by studying the methods that meet the requirements of the times and have typical significance can we establish schools with satisfactory quality of education.

  1. The practical necessity of the research

Education policy is the general requirement of different countries and their ruling parties for their own education work in a certain historical stage, and is the general direction of the national basic education policy system. It defines the development plan and implementation steps of education in various countries, and it is the action program to guide educational activities in various countries.

Curriculum standard is the concrete embodiment of education policy and the requirement of the state for school education and teaching curriculum. Curriculum standard is the basis of compiling teaching material, organizing teaching and evaluating effect. It has made basic requirements for students’ different moral cultivation, knowledge mastery, intelligence development level, etc. it has stipulated the objective nature and content structure of different courses, and put forward evaluation and suggestions for teaching. The new curriculum standard expounds the new curriculum concept. The function of teaching has changed from the traditional single emphasis on knowledge transfer to the emphasis on both knowledge transfer and ability training. It also emphasizes the organization method of students’ learning process and the cultivation of students’ intellectual development and values. It requires helping students acquire knowledge and skills, learn to learn and establish correct values.

The new curriculum reform highlights the basic requirements of curriculum standards, including the values of all-round development, the cultural requirements of science and humanities, the values of pure nature, the implementation standards of high efficiency and authenticity, and the policy requirements of democratic progress. It pays attention to the integrity of educational objectives, emphasizes the all-round development of all students; pays attention to learning basic knowledge, requires to improve students’ basic knowledge literacy; pays attention to students’ personality development; focuses on students’ future, pays attention to the cultivation of basic ability. It emphasizes the cultivation of moral character and good individual psychological quality. We should focus on the world and cultivate international awareness.

Nowadays, the competition in all fields of the world, in the final analysis, is the competition of talents. The national quality of each country determines its comprehensive national strength and development ability. The basic status and important role of education are becoming more and more prominent. All countries are strengthening education reform, striving to improve the quality of all kinds of talents and expand the number and scale of talents. How important the role of education is and how arduous the task is. In order to cultivate and bring up a new generation to meet the needs of modern development, we must vigorously change the concept of education, reform the educational system, adjust the educational structure, change the way of personnel training, and improve the educational content and teaching methods. We should «deepen education reform» and «comprehensively promote quality education». People’s quality includes two aspects: one is the material basis of born healthy body and intelligent brain; the other is the basic elements of knowledge and skills, intelligence level, personality and psychology acquired through the study and training of acquired education. To promote quality education, we should take promoting students’ all-round improvement as the fundamental goal, face all students, pay attention to comprehensively improving students’ knowledge level and ability level, develop students’ intelligence and tap their potential, and promote students’ scientific development in all aspects of morality, intelligence, sports and beauty. The standard of quality education is to pay attention to the totality, comprehensiveness, scientificity and development of education.

Under the condition of information technology, the teaching methods are more flexible and diversified. We should change the school management system, strengthen the allocation of educational resources, and focus on classroom teaching based on the change of educational methods. We should give full play to the role of national education quality standards and guarantee system. The ultimate goal of the new curriculum reform is to improve the quality of education and cultivate high-quality new talents. The main measure is to make full use of modern information technology to completely change the way of education.

The development of technology promotes the progress of society. Many old ways and methods have been unable to solve many of the current education problems, to find a new path to achieve new goals. Information technology in the era of big data provides a solid platform for teachers to solve problems. The use of information technology can broaden the perspective, dimension, platform and presentation of teaching. Massive teaching resources and rich novel methods make all teaching activities interesting and simple.

The analysis and integration function of information technology can help students learn knowledge, solve problems and acquire skills more easily, and help students develop sound personality and good thinking quality more comprehensively, so as to improve the quality of education more effectively. With the basic condition of information technology, teaching activities can be lively in form. Teachers and students can carry out teaching activities whenever and wherever they are, guide them from time to time, and learn everywhere.

With the development of the first mock exam, more and more information technology is applied to education and teaching. Such as huge network information, advanced drawing tools and various teaching softwares, all these can make mathematics teaching change from a single mode to a diversified teaching mode, and turn classroom teaching from static to dynamic.

In mathematics teaching, many situations are processed by information technology, which makes teachers’ teaching mode more diversified and more vivid. At the same time, in the mathematics classroom fully combined with information technology teaching can greatly improve the efficiency of the classroom.

The expression of mathematical concepts is abstract and concise. With the growth of age, students’ abstract consciousness is enhanced, but they still focus on image thinking, which makes it difficult to understand the concepts and affects the learning progress. The application of information technology can present abstract concepts through intuitive graphics and dynamic video, so that students can get intuitive understanding of the concept, produce effective memory, and can use the concept to solve problems flexibly on the basis of understanding, so as to improve the effectiveness of mathematics teaching.

Many concepts in mathematics are extracted from the phenomenon of life. Starting from this characteristic, teachers use information technology to create life situations, deduce the generation process of concepts, and make abstract and generalized concepts become intuitive and vivid under the action of information technology. Stimulate the students’ motivation to explore, let the students experience the formation process of the concept, form a preliminary understanding of the concept, and make full preparation for the realization from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge.

Mathematics is also a subject that pays attention to logical thinking, and problems are the engine of thinking. Only when students are driven by problems can they have the impulse to solve puzzles. Therefore, in order to enrich students’ experience in concept learning, teachers should design effective questions according to the learning content, and guide students to explore actively with questions. In this process, information technology can transform the process of knowledge generation into inquiry questions, activate students’ thinking, enable students to really participate in the inquiry of knowledge, and improve their ability to actively acquire knowledge.

In the current mathematics classroom problems, one of the reasons for the poor teaching effect is that the students’ classroom participation is low, and the abstract concepts and obscure knowledge points are difficult for students to accept in a short time. The application of multimedia technology in mathematics classroom can visualize and concretize very complex concepts or graphics, so that students can learn new knowledge points under the intuitive feeling.

In the conventional mathematics classroom, each student is an independent individual, and they are different in the ability of understanding, receiving information and thinking; Moreover, with the change of teachers’ teaching progress, classroom interaction is more concentrated in some schools with strong ability and fast reception. Over time, a class of students’ academic performance will appear the phenomenon of polarization. And multimedia technology to participate in classroom teaching, can let more students into the classroom learning, let them in a close to the actual environment to learn new mathematical knowledge.

In public schools in many countries, the number of class staff is too large, leading to teachers’ attention to each student is very different. There are two reasons: first, class time is not allowed; second, teachers’ energy is not allowed. Therefore, through the use of multimedia, teaching in fun, can enhance the ability and interest of students’ active learning, play the students’ autonomous learning. In a word, education and economic development are inseparable. The development of a country often depends on the education level of the country and the education level of the whole people, and mathematics education is the basis of all education. The goal of mathematics education is to promote the comprehensive, sustainable, healthy and harmonious development of students. It emphasizes that students can think from what they see and hear around them, abstract them into mathematical models, and actively participate in the process of seeking answers to questions «Learn to survive, learn to learn, learn to cooperate and learn to practice» is the basic requirement of UNESCO for talents in the 21st century.
