The development of the Chinese traditional and current dance teaching modes

Innovation is the life of art, and only continuous innovation can make art achieve comprehensive development. The comprehensive innovation of teaching methods in dance teaching can promote the overall improvement of dance teaching efficiency. The continuous development of modern science and technology has brought new opportunities for dance teaching innovation. At this stage, dance teaching in colleges and universities must seize some opportunities to strengthen dance teaching innovation in order to provide new impetus for the development of dance teaching. On the whole, there are still many problems in the innovation of dance teaching in most colleges and universities in my country at this stage, which restricts the further development of dance teaching to a large extent. Based on this situation, the author researched and analyzed the innovation of dance teaching methods.

In the context of the continuous advancement of teaching reform, the cultivation of dance art talents in colleges and universities also needs to be based on the concept of quality education, to innovate the old and lagging teaching mode in the past, and to be committed to self-centeredness, so as to ensure that students’ subjective initiative can be used to highlight teachers. In this article we would like to point out the Effectiveness of Teaching Facilitators [1]:

  1. Current Situation of Dance Teaching in Colleges and Universities.

— Curriculum is unreasonable. As far as some colleges and universities are concerned, there are certain deficiencies in the curriculum setting of dance majors, such as the scarcity of professional dance teacher resources or the lack of sound teaching infrastructure, which makes it difficult for the professional class hours to meet the students’ course selection needs. There are differences in the space for course selection, so it is difficult to ensure the teaching effect. In addition, the curriculum of some colleges and universities is set to pay high attention to the subjectivity of students, so that the dance courses do not have a good sense of the times, and it is difficult to attract students’ attention.

— The teaching method is slightly lagging behind. As far as dance teaching in colleges and universities is concerned, it is extremely necessary for teachers to demonstrate effectively. But as far as the actual situation of some colleges and universities is concerned, some teachers pay too much attention to their own dominance in dance teaching, and forcefully instill their own dance experience and teaching material content in an indisputable form. In this mode, students are often passive. Learning and accepting, without opportunities for independent thinking, exploration, and new actions, if things go on like this, teachers and students will have a subordinate relationship. This will drive the distance between the two even further, which ultimately interferes with the quality of teaching.

  1. 2. Innovative strategies of student-oriented dance teaching in dance teaching in colleges and universities.

— Construct a student-oriented teaching guiding ideology. The stage of colleges and universities is the critical period of students’ development, and their sense of autonomy and independence is stronger. Therefore, dance teachers in colleges and universities need to build a new teaching concept based on students.

— Based on the characteristics of dance art, enhance students’ enthusiasm for learning.Teachers need to effectively combine dance and music to highlight the artistic charm of the coordination between the two, so as to attract students and enhance their interest in dance learning through beautiful music.

— Implement emotional education. Teachers also need to integrate emotions when teaching, pay high attention to students’ emotions, and effectively guide them to ensure that students are in a good emotional state when learning dance.

— To build a harmonious teacher-student relationship, teachers need to innovate the old teaching model, abolish the top-down subordinate relationship between teachers and students, communicate with students and teach with an equal and mutual respect attitude.

— Optimize teaching evaluation. When innovating in the evaluation of dance teaching in colleges and universities, teachers need to be based on the principles of diversity and interaction to ensure that the teaching evaluation is systematic. Interactivity and teachers need to encourage students to vigorously implement teaching feedback once to ensure that teachers can give students actual needs and innovative dance teaching plans.

As a conclusion, we would like to point out that social demand-oriented practice and practice teaching activities of College education is a ladder for students to step into the society. Students need to face the society positively and accept the challenges bravely.
